In order to meet the requirements on effluent at Heanor Minhay and Newthorpe water treatment works as set out by the Water Framework Directive under the National Environmental Programme, it is necessary to transfer full treatment flow from Heanor to combined treatment at Newthorpe.

Our order from Mott Macdonald Bentley is for the supply of all labour, plant, temporary materials, temporary works design, and supervision for the construction of new reinforced concrete inlet works to include the inlet chamber, detritor structure, flume, and high flow chamber.
