Package The construction of an in situ concrete box structure, divided into two sections and including an in situ concrete roof slab, that would eventually form two underground freshwater reservoirs delivering potable water to the town of Llangollen.
A challenging construction programme saw the main structure (35m x 17m x 5m high) completed in a little over 6 weeks, which included weekend working. Additional pressure on the site team came in the form of strict hygiene measures designed to minimise contamination risks to the new structure during construction.
A project completed safely and ahead of programme much to the delight of the client Severn Trent.
