Package In order to achieve the tightening regulatory phosphorous and iron permits, Severn Trent Water required the construction of a two-lane reinforced concrete oxidation ditch at Albrighton Water Treatment Works.
The structure consisted of two interconnected octagonal tanks, each with internal baffle walls and shared inlet and outlet chambers. The main concrete pours were 161m³ to the base slab and 337m³ to internal and external walls. A proprietary wall formwork system was externally sourced.
